Meet The Team

We’re a small team of registered dental hygienists (RDHs) who care deeply about the people we serve. From the clinic at Origin to visits in the community, we take the time to listen, adapt, and make every appointment as comfortable as possible. Our focus is on building trust, supporting wellness, and creating positive experiences for every smile we care for.

Dental Hygienist

Julie

Julie absolutely loves what she does, and you will most definitely see that when you’re in the chair with her! She is an advocate of preventive and patient-focused care which is catered to individual needs. It gives her a chance to change lives and bring people back to their best, healthy selves. She is proud to be sharing this passion with you, your family, and your friends! Her goal as a Registered Dental Hygienist is to always provide exceptional patient-focused care and education so that your mouth stays healthy not only today but for years to come.

As a firm believer in lifelong learning, she takes an extensive amount of continuing education and training. She is passionate about giving back to the community and looking forward to your care!

Since moving to the Bow Valley, Banff it has quickly become a place for her to call home. She originally grew up in Winnipeg, but has also lived in Toronto, WhiteHorse, and Calgary. Throughout her travels, she’s found that it’s the people and community that make a place feel like home – the familiar faces and familiar smiles.

In her spare time, she loves to explore and immerse herself in this beautiful Park many of us call home. Through hiking, biking, and skiing, you can always expect to find her outdoors with her husband and two daughters during her time away from the clinic.

Receptionist

Shany

Hi, I’m Shany! I studied Dental Hygiene at La Cité Collégiale in Ottawa and worked as a Dental Hygienist in Quebec and Ontario before making the switch to the front desk. I love being that first friendly face you see when you walk into Floss, and my goal is always to make you feel comfortable, welcome, and cared for.

I’m originally from Hawkesbury, Ontario, but in 2019 my family and I packed up and moved to the Bow Valley — and we’ve been in love with mountain life ever since! When I’m not at the clinic, you’ll usually find me out on an adventure with my husband, our two kids, and our dog. Hiking, exploring, and soaking up the fresh air are some of my absolute favorite things.

For me, every patient is unique, and I truly enjoy getting to know the people behind the smiles. So don’t be shy — come say hi when you see me at the front desk!

Receptionist

Adda

You might catch a glimpse of Adda around the clinic from time to time, bringing a bit of extra cheer to your day! As the daughter of one of our team members, she’s part of the Lone Pine family in every sense.

Adda is always curious, friendly, and full of stories about her latest adventures—especially if they involve being out on the water! She absolutely loves canoeing and exploring the outdoors, and she’s never shy about sharing her latest nature finds or fun facts.

Whether she’s helping hand out stickers or just saying hello, Adda brings a sweet energy to the space that makes everyone smile. Keep an eye out for her—you never know when she’ll pop in to brighten your day!

“When we work as a team to support oral health, we protect more than smiles — we protect dignity and quality of life.”
